  The condo is inviting and clean. It is located across the street from the beach. We walked to the beach carrying our cooler, chairs and parasol. Great location and great value made for a great vacation.

  We rented the home for one week and enjoyed the quiet surrounding. What we really enjoyed was the ocean view from the balcony. The home was very clean and cozy.

  I loved the Villa. It was very tastefully decorated and clean. The view of the ocean was good also for 2nd row. The only problem I had was the aircondition went out and we were without air for a day and a half. This time of year was not good for that. I was a bit disappointed that we were not given anything (apology etc) by the rental company. I know things happen but the offer would have been appropriate. Otherwise, our stay was nice and I would return.

  My daughter and I stayed at Sea Island Villa last week in condo 306. We loved the location and having access to the public access was great. There are a few things that we were not happy with and I chose to wait and not ruin our week at the beach over this. I understand that the owner did not tell you they were not going to clean the place before leaving, which caused us to not be able to get in until 5:00 versa 3:00 check in time. There was dog or cat hair all over the furniture and bedspreads. My daughter is allergic to dogs and cats. We had to go buy sheets to cover all the furniture and we bought blankets for the beds and Benadryl for the hives that she got from being in the room. It was okay for her after we took the bedspread off the bed and wash the sheets ourselves. We did not plan on doing all of this our first day at the beach The thing is, if the owner was to bring their animals to the beach that is their choice however, I think you should tell anyone who gets that place that there have been animals staying there. My daughter was able to deal with all of this by her taking her allergy medicine and Benadryl and by us taking matters in our own hands and not spending much time in the place. Both of us got bites possibly from fleas? Also the bedspread that we took off the bed in the room my daughter was staying had blood on it. Nasty!!! The only thing that was offered by Seaside Villa was $200.00 off for next year 2011 stay. I think they should have credited my credit card account $200 for the stay that I had in July 2010. The owner of the condo offered their apology. My daughter lives in another state and this was the first time in 4 years that we were able to go to the beach, so for me to get the benefit of the $200 will not happen for next year.
