Conway’s Farmers Market will come alive with demonstrations by regional artists as well as live music. Meet talented artists and musicians and purchase original art directly from the makers. Watch as glass blowers create colorful works of art from molten glass; see potters shape clay into functional forms on the wheel; learn about encaustic painting techniques using heated wax and colored pigment and you will be amazed to see how baskets are made from pine needles.

Valor Park is the site for the 4th annual Myrtle Beach Beer Fest sponsored by Piggly Wiggly at The Market Common. Admission is free and guests can sample over 120 different beers from all over the country. A tasting glass is $5 and samples range from $1-$6. Live entertainment and a variety of vendors are scheduled for both days.

The 7th annual Mayfest on Main festival will feature some of the best live musical acts, art, craft and food vendors, a community stage and a children's area. The Main Stage is located at “the Horseshoe” and begins performances at 12:30 pm. You are sure to have a day full of fun with the family.

National Father Son Golf Tournament

Fathers and sons unite in "The Seaside Golf Capital of the World" for the 15th Annual Golf Dimensions National Father & Son Team Classic. This three-day family event has become the largest father-son golf event in the world. Last year's 54-hole competition drew over 1200 players from 44 states and 8 foreign countries - 36 flights in all.

Eligibility for the tournament is open to fathers and sons; grandfathers and grandsons; stepfathers and stepsons; fathers and sons in law; and uncles and nephews.

Along with three days of golf and an exceptional gift package, each player will receive a $100 Golf Dimensions Superstore gift card and a $100 golf /tournament merchandise.
