Visit Wheels of Yesteryear

Wheels of Yesteryear first opened in 2009 and quickly became a hit among locals and visitors to the area. It’s owned and operated by Paul and Carol Cummings, car-lovers who decided to share their collection of American-made cars and trucks with the public. The complete collection consists of over 100 cars, the result of over 45 years of Paul Cummings cultivating his collection. The Wheels of Yesteryear admission is $10 for adults (16 years or older) and $7 for children (15 to 7). Children younger than 7 get in for free!

Visit Year-Round

At any given time, there are around 50 American-made muscle cars and trucks on display at Wheels of Yesteryear. The museum is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The museum is closed for Christmas, New Years Day, and Easter, as well as for a couple weeks during late January and early February so owners can rotate the collection of cars. From year to year, the collection of cars is always going to be different, making this the perfect attraction to visit every time you stay with Seaside Vacations!

Some of the cars you may see include the 1960 Buick Wildcat Convertible, which is one of only 1,900 produced! According to Wheels of Yesteryear, this was known as the business man’s muscle car. You may also see the 1955 Dodge Stepside Pickup Truck, which made during the first year of the V-8 engine. You’re not just seeing incredible examples of American craftsmanship; you’re seeing pieces of history!
