Get ready to cruise through the waterways of the Carolinas on a Voyager dolphin adventure trip! On a morning or sunset cruise, you’ll travel out to the ocean and watch the shrimp boat fleet work their nets as dolphins, sharks, and other marine life feed behind the boats. The Voyager crew will even haul aboard a basket of sea animals like crabs or baby sharks for guests to admire. This 2.5-hour trip is perfect for families and kids of all ages, and the boat features a full galley, food and beverages, and restrooms.

Myrtle Beach Watersports

With two huge 65-foot boats available for guests, Myrtle Beach Watersports is another great choice for a dolphin tour. Either the Sea Thunder and the Sea Screamer will take you on a two-hour long tour that features three distinct experiences along the way. First, you’ll enjoy a narrated cruise of the Intracoastal Waterway and will pass fishing villages and uninhabited islands, look for birds and sea turtles, and learn about the area’s history. The second part of the cruise will be the exhilarating ride into the Atlantic to find the graceful dolphins. Once the boat arrives on location, the Captain will slow down to an idle so that everyone can experience the third and best part of the cruise, the dolphin watch!

Express Watersports

Departing from Murrells Inlet, a beautiful saltwater marsh that leads to the Atlantic Ocean, Express Watersports will take you on a 1.5-hour trip along the coast. An onboard naturalist will describe the history of Murrells Inlet as you look for dolphins, sea turtles, and other aquatic life. The 46-foot vessel has a covered back deck, full-size bathroom area, and even a top sun deck that offers great views of the sea.

On the Beach

If you prefer to stay on land, don’t worry! Guests have the chance to spot dolphins almost anywhere up and down the Grand Strand. Whether you’re sitting in a beach chair or swimming in the ocean, there’s a good chance you’ll see a pod of fins and blowholes passing by. The best time to see dolphins in Myrtle Beach is usually in the morning and evening during feeding times, so be sure to head to the sand then!

Try your hand at the laser tag combat zone (we think it’s one of the places for laser tag in Myrtle Beach!) or the three-story, indoor glow-in-the-dark ropes course! If you’re not afraid of heights, you can get a bird’s eye view of Myrtle Beach from the outdoor ropes course and zipline. Be sure to catch a flick at the 6D XD Extreme Motion Theater, which will give you a one-of-a-kind movie-watching experience!
WonderWorks is open all 365 days of the year! From Sunday to Thursday, it’s open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, it’s open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. General admission tickets are just $27.99 for adults and $17.99 for kids. There are other tickets available if you’d like to experience everything there is to offer at the park!
