North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex
The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex has a ton of amazing options for summer youth programs. The camps start in early June and include a co-ed tennis camp for ages six to 14, a co-ed football camp for ages six to 12, two male baseball camps for ages six to eight and nine to 12, a co-ed basketball camp for ages seven to 15, and a co-ed lacrosse camp for ages six to 12.
Coastal Carolina University
Coastal Carolina University is a fantastic resource for summer youth camps. They have a selection of programs that are perfect for serious young baseball players, as well as programs for softball, volleyball, and soccer. The CCU Summer Youth Camp accepts players ages 6-12 and consists of four days of baseball instruction, games, contests, and prizes. For the older group, Coastal Carolina has many options available based on the player’s skill level and position. While the Possum Trot Golf Club isn’t a camp, it’s still an awesome place for youths to improve their game. The Possum Golf Club provides lessons for individuals or groups. It’s home to one of the top three golf practice facilities on the Grand Strand. The world-class golf academy is led by PGA teaching professional Hugh Royer III. You can feel confident your child is getting the best lesson available! This camp is a great option for kids who are already passionate about golf or as an introduction to the game.
