Cruisin’ the Beach Car Show

The Cruisin’, the Beach Car Show, is perfect for everyone in the family to attend. Starting on Thursday, October 6th, at Broadway at the Beach, your family can check out some amazing-looking cars. This event is free to attend and runs through Saturday, October 8th, from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. You can purchase car parts, clothing, food, and more. Think of the fun the whole family will have as you check out classic, muscle, vintage, and even modern cars together.

31st Annual Greek Festival

Another great event this October is the 31st Annual Greek Festival. Happening over at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, your family can get a taste of the Greek Heritage. This event starts on Thursday, October 13th, and runs through Sunday, October 16th, from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm. Some of the food you’ll be able to purchase and try are Gyros, Greek Chicken, Greek Salad, Spanakopita, and more. Admission to the event is $2 per person and free for kids 10 & under. The Greek Festival is something you’ll never forget and will want to visit every fall!

17th Annual Little River ShrimpFest

Join in on the 17th Annual Little River ShrimpFest happening on Saturday, October 8th, and Sunday, October 9th. This event will be happening from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm along the History Little River Waterfront. Some items you’ll be able to experience are live music, balloon artists, delicious fresh local seafood, and much more. There are no pets allowed except for service animals. Be sure to check out the different arts and crafts vendors that will be there for you to bring home a gift or two for someone.

Summer is Full of Fun & Music on the Grand Strand

Carolina Country Music Fest 2022

Do you enjoy listening to country music and have always wanted to see some of the top country artists in the country? If you answered yes, then allow us to share with you the Carolina Country Music Fest! This is a four-day long event that will begin on Thursday, June 9th, and will end on Sunday, June 12th.  Some of the artists that you’ll be able to see perform are Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Gabby Barrett, Deana Carter, and more. They also have several different options to choose from for tickets including a 3-day pass, 4-day pass, Military & First Responder tickets, and more. While the Super VIP & VIP passes are sold out, there are still plenty of tickets available.  Don’t miss this amazing festival to enjoy some great songs and dance a little too with the family!

Alabama Theatre

If you’re not going to be in the area for the Carolina Country Music Fest don’t worry. On Saturday, June 25th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm you can see Home Free over at The Alabama Theatre. Tickets start at $34.95 to see one of the country’s “a cappella groups” in the area. On July 2nd starting at 7:00 pm you will be able to see one of South Carolina’s native singers, Josh Turner. Tickets for Josh Turner start around $49.95 so you can listen and sing along to some of his classic songs.

Crooked Hammock Brewery

Crooked Hammock Brewery in North Myrtle Beach is the third location to open on the Grand Strand. Located over at Barefoot Landing is where you’ll find this family-friendly restaurant to enjoy. Start your dining experience with a tasty appetizer like the  Humongous Pretzel, Fried Pickles, or Longboard Nachos. For your main entrée, check out their Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich, Burger, Crab Cake Platter, or Beer Can Chicken. On the kid’s menu, you’ll find a Hot Dog, Chicken tenders, Mac & Cheese, and Grilled Cheese. For the adults, if you’d like to try some of their Locally Brewed Craft Beers. Before you leave to go back to your vacation rental, don’t forget the dessert or take it back to your rental and enjoy it after the kids go to bed.

Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar

If you’re looking for a nice treat on a hot day, then head on over to Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar located at The Market Common. While it may not be in North Myrtle Beach, it is still a restaurant that we can’t leave off the list. Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar is where you’ll find a new way of milkshakes that will have your mouth watering. Some of the choices you can pick from are Top of the Morning, Sweet Cheezus, Moose & Waffles, and I’d Rather Be a Mermaid. Another great thing is you get to keep the mason jar that your milkshake creation comes in and take it home as a souvenir.
