Cherry Grove Pier Fireworks Show

Do you want to catch one of the most iconic 4th of July fireworks in the area? Head on over to the Cherry Grove Pier for their annual fireworks show on Saturday, July 4th. This professional fireworks show will begin at 9:30 pm and will conclude at 10:00 pm. Be sure to bring a beach chair or towel to sit on while you enjoy the show. Keep in mind that the 3500 block of North Ocean Boulevard closes to vehicles for the event, and 300 feet of the beach on either side of the pier closes to the public starting at 7:00 pm. We recommend checking the tide chart to make sure you’re watching from the beach and not the water. However, if you’re staying in Cherry Grove, you may be able to see the fireworks from your vacation rental.

Music on Main Concert Series

The Music on Main Concert Series is a favorite tradition for many in North Myrtle Beach. This family-friendly live music series runs every Thursday evening at the Horseshoe on Main Street, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, with free admission for all. This year’s series carries a patriotic theme to mark the country’s upcoming 250th anniversary so that you can expect plenty of red, white, and blue in the air all summer. The closest show to the holiday lands on Thursday, July 2nd, so if you’re coming in for the week, it’s worth building into your plans. Bring your beach chairs or blankets so you can settle in for an evening of community spirit and festive vibes the whole family will enjoy.

Salute from the Shore

Before the fireworks even start, don’t miss this longtime Independence Day tradition. The Salute from the Shore flyover kicks off at 1:00 pm right over Cherry Grove, with both military jets and a group of vintage civilian aircraft passing overhead before continuing down the coast. If you’re staying in Cherry Grove, you’ll have a front row seat without going anywhere.

Beach Day & Cookout

One of the best perks of staying in a North Myrtle Beach house rental is having your own space for grilling. Start your 4th of July with a day on the beach with the family, and end your day with a fun cookout. Many of our rentals are located close to the beach or directly on the beachfront, allowing you to soak up the sun steps away from your door. After a fun-filled day on the sand, fire up the grill for a festive cookout with burgers, hot dogs, or fresh local seafood. Then gather on the deck to watch the sunset and toast to a day well spent at the beach.
