Cherry Grove is built around water on three sides. The Atlantic is on the east; the salt-marsh inlet and a grid of tidal channels run behind the beach blocks; and Hog Inlet marks the north end, where the beach turns to a walkable sandbar at low tide. The Cherry Grove Pier is the landmark, with fishing and a grill at the end. No strip here, no high-rise wall, and the streets empty out at night.
